About Us
Sharpe Architecture is a creative design studio based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, specialising in designing unique and joyful buildings. The studio was established with the goal of delivering great design while making the process more enjoyable and less stressful for our clients.
We are available at every step to advise on elements that can add value to a space and to identify potential issues and how to mitigate them. We are passionate about design and firmly believe in the value it brings to people's lives.
The company was founded in 2019 by Frances, with Simon joining in 2022. Both directors live and work in Tunbridge Wells with their young family.

How we work
We strongly believe in a collaborative approach to design. By working closely with our clients, we create bespoke designs that feel like home. We pay close attention to detail and carefully consider every aspect of the design process, regardless of the project's size or budget.
Our process begins with a meeting at your property to better understand your brief and discuss how we can assist in achieving your objectives. Following this visit, we provide a fee proposal for your consideration.
In the early stages, we explore several layout and design options using sketches, computer-generated images (CGIs), and plans to illustrate how each option would look. Once you agree on the design direction, we guide you through the planning stage, building regulations, technical design, and selecting a builder to bring your project to life.
Feel free to get in touch by clicking the button below with any questions you may have about your upcoming project. You can also learn more about our approach on the services page.
We are proud to be a Chartered practice of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
